Cutten Resource Center

The Cutten Resource Center, located in Eureka, is a lending library that provides an opportunity to make curriculum choices that best match an individual’s learning style.

We house the latest adoption of Common Core Integrated Mathematics, English Language Arts and soon will be adding the latest adoption of Science curriculum.

Our library continues to add the Newbery and Caldecott award winning books, plus California Young Medal honors list selections to its shelves.

DVDs, audio books, games, literature, math manipulatives and science equipment can be found on the shelves.

Digital curriculum offered includes: Renaissance Learning, Pearson Mathematics, Houghton Mifflin Mathematics, Rosetta Stone (any language), Reach for Reading, and Springboard.

Our e-book library (Destiny Discover) is ready for use 24/7 and guests are welcome to come and look around.  Titles found in our e-book collection match many of the titles in our physical library, as well as timeless classics from literature.

Our Destiny Library is available to all Northern United Charter School students and staff no matter where you are! Using the Destiny Discover app (available for free on Google Play or Apple) on your Kindle, Nook, cell phone, android, or other digital readers to access the library materials has never been easier.

All materials are available for check-out on a first-come, first-served basis and are to be returned when the due date is met.

A wide assortment of supplementary material is available for copying.  The binders filled with “alternative” lesson plans are for those who choose to learn outside the traditional textbook.

Also, the center is offering a variety of courses for Independent Learners. Check with the library tech for what is offered and when.
